in The Great European Disaster Movie

On 27 April, two weeks after featuring on the programme of the International Journalism Festival of Perugia, The Great European Disaster Movie was screened at another prestigious Italian venue, Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.

In the debate that followed the film makers Annalisa Piras and Bill Emmott (pictured above) were joined by three Ca’Foscari professors: Prof Carlo Carraro, (Professore Ordinario di Econometria), Francesca Coin (Ricercatrice di Sociologia Generale) and Prof Fabrizio Marrella  (Professore Associato di Diritto Internazionale). The event was presented by the University’s chancellor Michele Bugliesi.

Prof Carraro had in the past already hosted Annalisa e Bill at debate which followed the screening of their previous film, Girlfriend in a coma.

Update: On Europe Day 2015 the University featured the film once again in three simultaneous screenings in different faculties.
